Who is responsible

Agujetas de Reemplazo, S.A. de C.V., tax ID ARE201110985, with address at Blvd. Chichimecas 502, Col. Las Bugambilias, C.P. 37270, León, Guanajuato, México, is responsible for the personal data collected through tietails.com.

TieTails is a brand of Agujetas de Reemplazo, S.A. de C.V.. Any purchase made on this site is invoiced by that company.

What we collect

To process an order: name, email, phone and shipping address. If you request an invoice, we also collect your tax details.

If you write through the contact or wholesale form: name, email, phone, business name, and whatever you tell us in the message.

We do not collect or store your full card number or security code: payment is processed by Mercado Pago on their own platform. From the transaction we receive the payment identifier, its status and amount, which we use to reconcile your order and handle queries.

We do not collect sensitive personal data — data on racial or ethnic origin, health, genetics, beliefs, union membership, political opinions or sexual preference. Please do not include any in the message field.

While you browse, we also automatically collect IP address, cookie identifiers, device and browser type, page views and usage events.

What we use them for

Necessary purposes: processing and shipping your order, issuing your invoice, following up, and handling questions, exchanges or returns.

Additional purposes, not required for your purchase: letting you know about new colors or models. You can decline these when you give us your data, or later, without affecting your purchase or your service.

Who we share them with

Processors, which are not transfers: to run the site and fulfil your order, your data is handled by providers acting on our behalf and under our instructions — the payment platform, the carrier, site hosting and our email provider. They may not use it for their own purposes.

Transfers that do NOT require your consent: to the tax authority when we issue your invoice, because the law requires it, and to the carrier where necessary to perform the sale. Also to any authority that requires it under a duly founded order.

International transfers: some of our analytics, email and hosting providers process information on servers outside Mexico, mainly in the United States.

We do not sell, rent or assign your data for marketing purposes to third parties unrelated to your purchase.

If you do not want us to transfer your data in the cases that do require consent, write to contacto@tietails.com. Declining does not affect your purchase or your service.

Your ARCO rights

You may request access to your data, its correction if inaccurate, its deletion where it is no longer needed, or object to a specific use. You may also withdraw consent you previously gave.

Send your request to contacto@tietails.com, or in writing to Blvd. Chichimecas 502, Col. Las Bugambilias, C.P. 37270, León, Guanajuato, México. It is handled by our Personal Data Department. It must include your name and a means to reply, a copy of official ID, a description of the data concerned, which right you are exercising, and anything that helps us locate your data.

We communicate our determination within 20 days of receiving your request, and where it is granted we act on it within the following 15 days. These periods may be extended once for an equal period where justified.

Exercising your rights is free. We may only charge reproduction, copying or shipping costs.

If you are not satisfied, you may file a data protection request with the competent authority under Mexico's federal data protection law.

How to limit the use of your data

To stop receiving commercial communications you can: leave the corresponding box unchecked when you give us your data; use the unsubscribe link at the foot of every email we send; or write to contacto@tietails.com with the subject "Unsubscribe".

Declining the additional purposes does not affect your purchase, your warranty or your service.

You may also register free of charge with Mexico's Public Consumer Registry.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your cart and language, and to measure site usage in aggregate. You can disable them in your browser; if you do, the cart may stop working.

We use an analytics service that records page views and events in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, the updated version will be published on this page with its date. We suggest reviewing it before sharing new data with us.
